jonnham…i have them too. its because you have flat feet. so if your working out just running around to get in shape…run on the grass the cushion helps the shin splits not rip you up so much…another thing is that after you have done your workout massage your shins with lotion…their not stress fractures becasue you would KNOW those hurt like hell…you wouldnt be able to still workout

work your abdominal belt. Any ab exercices that needs you to move your legs work the deeper layer of abdominal muscles (the belt, or transverse) and helps tighten your tummy and give that chocolate bar look.
