MOTIVATION GURL!!!!! UR THA BEST!!!
I have started a personal blog that holds me accountable and shares my struggles and accompishments with the world! Along with my vlog on here. Muscle takes up less room than fat, and the more muscle you build the more calories you burn! I measure myself every week. I see more change in my measurements than on the scale. You are very correct about TRACKING being the key!
I start my weight loss journey tomorrow. My boyfriend loves my body and tells me I don’t need to lose weight. However, my family has become picture happy and I would like to become more fit in my clothes. It’s about being comfortable in your own skin. I’m ready!!!!!
Also, I bought a scale from walmart. It’s called the Health o meter. It measures body fat, hydration level, BMI, and bone mass. It also allows you to have up to four users and stores the information. Good Luck Everybody!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing the info!
You’re so right!!
Ok you motivated me to go and weigh myself…so scared lol not. Thanks for the motivation!!
From 2008 until February 2010, I worked out a few times a week and managed to go from 220 to 200, which wasn’t really a good pace. From around March until June, I monitored what I ate on my iPod Touch (using Lose It). Recently, I have just been checking my weight every few days and pretty much eating what I want but of course, maintaining it without going overboard (no longer using Lose It). From February until now, I managed to go from 200 to 167. It seems to work for me
LOL – take those hair pieces out. So cute!!! LOL. Smooches, SK
@ladygi19 : LOL!
@afunkydamsel A friend of mine told me that you can try the ones out at bed bath and beyond… Maybe I can find one that I can step on 3x in a row and it does not fluctuate over a half pound. Whats the point of using a scale that measures incriminates if its not reliable! I know they are likely not off by more then a pound but i want to see that pound! LOL thats 3500 calories worth of dedication. LOL
@ladygi19 : I totally agree with you! I bought the Weight Watchers digital scale that measures body fat, etc and it was off every time I got on it. The design of the scale was awesome but it was not accurate but the old school scale is accurate and consistent. Needless to say, I took the Weight Watcher’s digital scale right back to Target. I’m just glad I didn’t throw the old school scale away…shooo. Whew! 8=D
Any idea what is a digital scale is best… I have gone through 3 digital scales in the last year, even spending top dollar but every time I get one I can step on it 5 times in a row and it will fluctuate 1/2 lb – 2 pounds. When I use the old school one with the need it only shows full pounds but not the increments which I wanted, but at least i got the same measurement every time. I like to use the full size one at the gym but I would like to have one that is accurate at home. Great Info, TY
Great idea! I used my grandfathers olld ass scale, and everytime, it was sooo of, like by 20 lbs off :/ I was like what the heck .. Great video
I don’t wiegh myself at all, I’m more of a measuring girl. The scale makes me feel if I know the truth, I’ll have more self asteem issues.
great advice! i think i’m going to start measuring the inches i loose/gain instead of weighing myself.
